The Soundcraft Ui24R is the flagship of the Ui Series, a 24-channel digital mixing console built into a compact 4U rack-mount chassis with no physical faders, controlled instead from any tablet, smartphone, or computer running a web browser. This design allows an engineer to mix from anywhere in the room, making the Ui24R equally suited to touring bands, houses of worship, corporate AV installations, and project studios.

Connectivity includes twenty combo XLR/TRS mic/line inputs with individually switchable +48V phantom power, two additional combo inputs, and two stereo RCA line inputs, along with a comprehensive complement of aux, group, and main outputs. Every input channel offers a 4-band parametric EQ, high-pass filter, gate, compressor, and de-esser, while every output includes a 31-band graphic EQ, gate, and compressor.

A standout feature of the Ui24R is its ability to perform parallel multitrack recording, capturing channels simultaneously to a connected USB storage device and to a computer DAW, making it a capable recording interface as well as a live mixing console. Onboard processing from Lexicon, dbx, and DigiTech provides studio-quality reverb, delay, chorus, feedback suppression, and amp modelling.

The Ui24R supports up to ten simultaneous control devices across iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, with subgroups, mute groups, view groups, and full show and snapshot recall with channel recall safes. Combining extensive I/O, multitrack recording, and flexible wireless control in a single rack space, the Ui24R offers a scalable, professional digital mixing solution for a wide range of live and studio applications.
