The Soundcraft Ui-12 is a compact, rack-mount digital mixing console controlled entirely from a tablet, smartphone, or PC, with no physical faders on the unit itself. Integrated Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity allow engineers to walk the venue while adjusting the mix, making the Ui-12 a practical choice for small venues, houses of worship, corporate AV setups, and mobile sound providers.

Onboard, the Ui-12 combines Soundcraft mic preamps with an integrated stagebox and DSP engine, offering four combo XLR/TRS inputs, four dedicated XLR mic inputs, two Hi-Z instrument inputs, and a stereo RCA line input. Each input channel benefits from a 4-band parametric EQ, gate, compressor, de-esser, and high-pass filter, giving engineers detailed control over every source.

Built-in signal processing from HARMAN brands rounds out the feature set, including three dedicated Lexicon FX engines for reverb, delay, and chorus, dbx AFS2 feedback suppression, and DigiTech amp modelling. All outputs include a 31-band graphic EQ, compressor, and noise gate, while a 120-band real-time analyser on inputs and outputs helps identify problem frequencies quickly.

The Ui-12 supports up to ten simultaneous control devices across iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS, and Linux, with storable gain and phantom power status, subgroups, mute groups, and view groups for organizing complex shows. A 2-channel USB media player and recallable show/snapshot memory make the Ui-12 a flexible, space-saving digital mixing solution for smaller-scale live sound and installed audio applications.
