It features the JBL Differential Drive® 2262H low-frequency driver, with a 300 mm (12 in) cone and a 75 mm (3 in) dual voice coil with dual magnetic gap. High-frequency output is delivered by the JBL 2432H compression driver, incorporating a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit and a large 75 mm (3 in) voice coil, providing clear and accurate high-frequency reproduction even at elevated sound levels. The large-format Progressive Transition™ waveguide provides consistent directivity across a 60° x 40° coverage pattern, minimizing distortion and providing smooth off-axis response.

The rotatable waveguide allows flexible installation in either vertical or horizontal orientation, making it suitable for various venue layouts. High-slope passive crossover networks reduce band overlap, ensuring coherent and precise sound reproduction. Controlled off-axis behavior improves arrayability, making the system ideal for multi-speaker configurations.

The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed from exterior-grade Finnish birch plywood and finished in white, with 15-degree side angles for easier rigging.
