The JBL CBT 200LA-1 is a 200 cm tall professional line array column loudspeaker engineered for large-scale sound reinforcement applications requiring long-distance projection, consistent coverage, and precise acoustic control. Built with Constant Beamwidth Technology™, the system uses advanced analog delay beam-forming and amplitude tapering to achieve uniform vertical dispersion while eliminating uneven beaming, inconsistent coverage zones, and off-axis lobing commonly found in conventional column speakers.

Equipped with thirty-two 50 mm (2 in) full-range drivers, the CBT 200LA-1 provides high output capability and extended pattern control, allowing sound energy to remain focused and intelligible even at long distances. The vertical dispersion pattern is switchable between 30° for medium-throw coverage and 15° for long-throw applications. In addition, the Asymmetrical Progressive-Gradient vertical mode directs more acoustic energy toward the rear of the listening space, ensuring consistent front-to-back sound pressure levels, with adjustable gradient control for optimized room tuning.

The system is constructed in a two-module configuration, with top and bottom sections coupled together via a precision coupler plate to form a unified 2-meter column. Integrated 70V/100V transformers and direct impedance operation enable seamless integration into distributed and conventional sound systems.

Housed in a fiberglass-reinforced ABS enclosure with a painted aluminum grille, the CBT 200LA-1 is designed for durability and long-term reliability. With IP55-rated environmental protection when installed with the optional terminal panel cover, it is suitable for both indoor and protected outdoor installations. The included swivel (pan)/tilt wall bracket allows precise aiming, making the CBT 200LA-1 ideal for auditoriums, houses of worship, transportation hubs, large conference halls, stadium concourses, and large public venues requiring controlled, high-performance audio coverage.
