The JBL PD544 is a professional 15-inch horn-loaded full-range loudspeaker engineered for high-output applications requiring accurate directivity and consistent performance. Featuring a 380 mm (15 in) low-frequency horn driver paired with a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit compression driver, the PD544 delivers smooth, high-fidelity sound across music and speech applications. Its Progressive Transition™ (PT™) waveguides provide precise 40° x 40° pattern control with minimal distortion, even at high SPL levels.

The trapezoidal enclosure, built from robust 18 mm Finnish birch plywood and finished with JBL’s durable DuraFlex™ coating, ensures long-lasting reliability. The rotatable waveguide allows the cabinet to be positioned horizontally or vertically without compromising coverage. A sophisticated steep-slope passive crossover network offers switchable bi-amp or passive operation for flexible integration into various systems.

Designed for professional sports venues, performance spaces, auditoriums, and worship facilities, the PD544 can operate alone for full-range applications or paired with subwoofers to extend low-frequency response below 80 Hz. Its trapezoidal form, integrated suspension points, and weather-resistant options make it adaptable to indoor or outdoor environments, ensuring consistent performance under diverse conditions.
