The JBL PD544 is a professional-grade 15-inch horn-loaded full-range loudspeaker designed for high-output applications that require accurate coverage and consistent performance. It features a 380 mm (15 in) low-frequency horn driver alongside a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit compression driver, producing clear, high-fidelity audio across speech and music applications. Its Progressive Transition™ (PT™) waveguides provide a 40° x 40° coverage pattern with minimal distortion, even at elevated SPL levels.

The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed from durable 18 mm Finnish birch plywood with a protective DuraFlex™ finish, ensuring long-term reliability. The rotatable waveguide allows for both horizontal and vertical cabinet orientation. The speaker also incorporates a steep-slope passive crossover network with switchable bi-amp or passive modes for flexible system integration.

The PD544 is ideal for sports arenas, auditoriums, performance venues, and worship facilities. It can operate alone for full-range sound or paired with subwoofers to extend low-frequency response below 80 Hz. Optional weather-resistant configurations, WRC for sheltered outdoor use or WRX for extreme exposure, make it suitable for demanding environments. The trapezoidal design, integrated suspension points, and robust construction guarantee reliable performance in any professional setup.
