The JBL AC18 is a compact, high-output 2-way loudspeaker designed for professional fixed-installation applications. Manufactured in Mexico, it is part of JBL’s AE Compact family within the AE Series, offering exceptional clarity, consistent coverage, and flexible installation in a space-efficient enclosure. The AC18 is built to provide reliable, accurate sound for system designers and performers in a wide range of venues.

This model features a 205 mm (8-inch) low-frequency transducer paired with a 1-inch exit compression driver, delivering detailed midrange and clear high-frequency output. Its PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide with rotatable horn provides 90° x 50° coverage, ensuring even sound distribution and consistent frequency response throughout the listening area. FIR tuning optimizes frequency and phase response, delivering enhanced coverage consistency and overall audio quality. The passive crossover allows for straightforward integration into professional sound systems.

The enclosure is constructed from 12 mm and 15 mm exterior-grade multi-ply hardwood plywood, ensuring durability and long-term structural stability. The white finish provides a clean, unobtrusive appearance, making the loudspeaker suitable for aesthetic-sensitive environments. Connectivity is provided via dual Neutrik NL4 connectors and screw terminals, supporting secure and flexible system wiring.

The AC18 handles up to 500 W program power, providing reliable output for demanding applications. Multiple attachment points enable mounting with optional U-brackets, third-party OmniMount® brackets, or stand mount accessories, allowing flexible installation on walls, ceilings, or floor stands.
