The PD6212 12-inch 2-Way Horn-Loaded Speaker is designed for applications requiring high output capability with excellent pattern control. As part of the Precision Directivity Series, it provides consistent broadband performance for music and speech systems where frequency extension to 80 Hz is adequate, or as part of a full-range system combined with subwoofers for extended bandwidth operation.

This model incorporates a 300 mm (12 in) horn-loaded low-frequency driver along with a large-format high-frequency compression driver. The high-sensitivity design enables strong continuous SPL capability while maintaining clarity and controlled dispersion. The low-frequency driver features a 75 mm voice coil for reliable power handling, while the high-frequency section utilizes a 38 mm exit compression driver with a 100 mm voice coil for detailed and intelligible projection.

Large PT Progressive Transition waveguides deliver broadband pattern control with smooth frequency response and reduced distortion at elevated sound pressure levels. The 90° x 50° horn configuration provides wider horizontal coverage with controlled vertical dispersion, making it suitable for a variety of venue layouts. Rotatable low- and high-frequency waveguides allow flexible cabinet orientation in either horizontal or vertical positions.

A sophisticated 6th order Linkwitz-Riley passive crossover network operating at 850 Hz ensures precise frequency division. The system supports switchable bi-amp and passive modes for installation versatility. Constructed in a trapezoidal enclosure from 16 mm exterior-grade material and equipped with 20 M10 suspension points, the PD6212 delivers durable, high-output performance with accurate directivity control.
