The JBL AC18 is a compact, high-performance 2-way loudspeaker designed for professional fixed-installation applications. Manufactured in Mexico, it is part of JBL’s AE Compact family within the AE Series, offering precise coverage, clear audio reproduction, and flexible installation in a space-efficient enclosure. The AC18 is engineered to meet the demands of system designers and performers who require high-quality, reliable sound in venues of various sizes.

This model features a 205 mm (8-inch) low-frequency transducer combined with a 1-inch exit compression driver, providing accurate midrange and detailed high-frequency output. The PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide with rotatable horn delivers adjustable 120° x 60° coverage, ensuring consistent sound dispersion throughout the listening area. FIR tuning optimizes frequency and phase response, enhancing coverage consistency and overall audio quality. The passive crossover allows straightforward integration into professional audio setups.

The enclosure is constructed from 12 mm and 15 mm exterior-grade multi-ply hardwood plywood, offering durability and structural reliability. The white finish provides a clean, visually unobtrusive appearance suitable for spaces where aesthetic integration is important. Dual Neutrik NL4 connectors and screw terminals provide secure and flexible connection options.

The AC18 supports up to 500 W program power, ensuring reliable performance for demanding applications. Multiple attachment points allow installation with optional U-brackets, third-party OmniMount® brackets, or stand mount accessories, offering flexibility for walls, ceilings, or floor-mounted configurations.
