The PD764i Dual 8-inch 2-Way High Output Horn-Loaded Speaker is a Precision Directivity™ loudspeaker designed to deliver high-impact sound reinforcement for professional audio applications where long throw distances are required. A single module produces over 104 dB SPL continuously at distances up to 50 meters (165 ft), making it ideal for standalone use or clustering with other PD family modules in distributed systems.

This speaker features dual 8-inch CMCD horn-loaded midrange drivers, which provide 6 dB more output than traditional designs, paired with dual 2432H 3-inch compression drivers for high-frequency clarity. Its IFS™ Interference Free Summation module prevents destructive interference and increases overall HF output by 6 dB. The 60° x 40° symmetrical coverage pattern allows horizontal or vertical orientation within an array, while pattern control is maintained down to 400 Hz. Co-axial mid/high-frequency layout ensures efficient arrayability and minimizes enclosure size.

Constructed with 16 mm and 18 mm exterior-grade birch plywood in a trapezoidal and rectangular design, the PD764i is both durable and acoustically optimized. Optional WRC/WRX weather-resistant versions feature fiberglassed enclosures with stainless steel hardware for outdoor or extreme environment use. The integrated rigging system simplifies array setup, and NL4 input connectors enable bi-amp operation.
