Description
dbx ZonePRO 1261m Digital Zone Processor
The dbx ZonePRO 1261m is a professional digital signal processor designed to provide comprehensive signal processing, flexible routing, and centralized control for commercial audio installations. Featuring a fixed architecture with 12 inputs and 6 outputs, the processor combines high-performance DSP with configurable insert processing, making it ideal for hospitality venues, conference centers, educational facilities, retail environments, and other installed sound applications. Its streamlined architecture simplifies system configuration while delivering the advanced processing tools required for reliable multi-zone audio distribution.
The processor includes six balanced microphone/line inputs, four mono-summed RCA input pairs, and an S/PDIF digital input, providing compatibility with a wide variety of professional and consumer audio sources. Independent microphone gain adjustment is available for each channel, while two configurable input insert positions and one configurable output insert position allow additional channel-specific processing where needed. Every output incorporates the patented AutoWarmth® technology, a psychoacoustic enhancement that preserves natural low-frequency response even when playback levels are reduced, ensuring consistent sound quality across all listening conditions.
The integrated Link Bus enables duplication of the first six audio channels to another compatible ZonePRO processor, allowing efficient expansion for additional output zones without complex system redesign. Front panel indicators include power status, network activity LEDs, and an RS-232 control port for local system management. The processor also supports optional Zone Controllers, Ethernet networking, third-party control systems, and ZonePRO Designer software with its guided Configuration Wizard for simplified installation, configuration, monitoring, and remote control. With high-quality digital conversion, excellent dynamic range, and comprehensive commercial audio processing, the dbx ZonePRO 1261m provides a powerful solution for professional installed audio systems.
