The Bose ArenaMatch Utility AMU108 is a small-format outdoor loudspeaker built for applications that require excellent audio from a compact enclosure. It provides wide, even coverage with a 90 degree by 60 degree constant-directivity high-frequency horn, an 80Hz to 16kHz frequency response and 121dB peak SPL, supported by a Bose LF8 8 inch woofer for solid low-end reinforcement.
Built for zone-fill coverage or high-SPL foreground music, the AMU108 shares the same EMB2S compression driver and tonal balance as Bose ArenaMatch array modules, letting it integrate seamlessly with larger ArenaMatch systems in sports stadiums, arenas and outdoor entertainment centres, as well as smaller niche venues such as breweries and fairgrounds.
An IP55 weather rating, three-layer stainless steel grille, water-resistant woofer, industrial polyurethane exterior coating and molded input panel cover protect the AMU108 from direct outdoor exposure. A weather-sealed internal 70/100V transformer with tap setting switch and 8 ohm bypass gives installers flexibility between distributed line and low impedance operation.
A stainless-steel U-bracket with rear-enclosure M8 threaded inserts accepts compatible accessory mounting hardware, including a surface-mount pan-and-tilt bracket, single-point suspension bracket, or external pole adapter. Finished in black, the AMU108 suits resorts, outdoor shopping centres, and any outdoor venue that needs intelligible, high-level sound coverage.
