Bose ControlSpace CC-64 control center

The Bose ControlSpace CC-64 control center is a programmable, networked controller designed to give building occupants a simple, logical interface to sound systems built around ControlSpace ESP processors or network-enabled PowerMatch amplifiers. As a fully programmable device, it can be tailored so only the controls relevant to a given space are exposed to end users.

Four rotary encoders, each surrounded by a circular LED ring, provide tactile control over gain settings or scene selection, while a fifth encoder in the upper right handles programmed scenes and presets. Four bank-switch buttons let a single set of four encoders address up to sixteen separate system controls, keeping the physical footprint compact without limiting functionality.

A large two-line, 40-character backlit LCD displays the names of whatever system elements are currently being controlled, using wording defined during programming rather than generic factory labels. This helps non-technical users quickly understand what each knob or scene button does without needing separate documentation.

The CC-64 connects over standard 10Base-T Ethernet wiring, with up to sixteen units supported per ControlSpace system, and it fits into a standard 5-gang electrical wall box for straightforward installation. Programming is carried out in ControlSpace Designer software, which links or maps signal-processing objects in the system to the CC-64’s physical controls.
