The Ecler VEO-XWT44E is an HDBaseT transmitter built into a European 2-gang wallplate format, giving installations a clean, in-wall connection point rather than a separate transmitter box. Used with the VEO-XRT44 receiver, it extends one 4K video signal up to 40 metres over a single Cat 5e/6 cable, or a Full HD signal up to 70 metres, supporting real 4K video at 60Hz with 4:4:4 YUV chroma subsampling and HDR10 across a maximum bandwidth of 18Gbps.

Two HDMI 2.0 inputs and a USB-C input are built into the wallplate, selectable via a front panel button, an automatic switching feature, or RS-232 command, giving presenters flexible source options directly at the wall without needing a separate switcher upstream. Bidirectional IR and RS-232 signal extension travel alongside the video signal, keeping remote control commands functional across the HDBaseT link.

A bidirectional PoC (Power over Cable) feature allows the transmitter to be powered by the receiver and vice versa, meaning only one power supply is needed for the complete link regardless of which end has convenient mains access. A second front panel button can switch a connected display on or off via CEC, or be programmed through IR learning or RS-232 to send display power commands, offering a simple and versatile control option built directly into the wall panel.

With lossless video compression for HDBaseT transmission and a compact European wallplate footprint, the VEO-XWT44E suits meeting rooms, classrooms and boardrooms where a tidy, integrated wall-mounted connection point is preferred over a standalone transmitter unit.
