Ecler VEO-XRT44 4K HDBaseT extender/scaler receiver
The Ecler VEO-XRT44 is a professional HDBaseT receiver used in conjunction with the VEO-XTT44 transmitter, or the VEO-XWT44E wallplate transmitter, to receive a 4K video signal extended up to 40 metres, or a Full HD signal up to 70 metres, over a single Cat 5e/6 cable. It supports HDMI 2.0 video resolution up to 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDR, along with HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 content protection.
The VEO-XRT44 supports video resolution up-scaling, automatically upgrading a 1080p input signal to 4K output at the display end, keeping image quality consistent even when the paired source hardware is limited to Full HD resolution. Advanced EDID management ensures reliable communication between the extended source and the connected display.
Bidirectional PoH (Power over HDBaseT) enables both the transmitter and receiver to be powered by a single power supply, which can be connected to either unit depending on which end of the installation has convenient access to mains power. This flexibility reduces cabling and installation complexity, particularly over longer HDBaseT runs.
Together with its matching transmitter, the VEO-XRT44 provides the ideal solution for residential and commercial applications using the latest 4K/UHD and HDR sources with displays situated more than a few metres away from the source equipment, such as boardrooms, classrooms and retail signage installations.
