The Allen & Heath ME-500 is a professional digital personal monitoring mixer designed to give musicians, performers, presenters, and production teams complete control over their own monitor mixes. Supporting up to 16 mono or stereo input sources, the ME-500 receives audio over a single Cat5 connection and offers a simple plug-and-play workflow that eliminates complex setup procedures and reduces workload for audio engineers.

Designed for fast deployment, the ME-500 automatically assigns incoming channels to its control keys, allowing users to begin mixing immediately without programming or configuration. Each input can be adjusted independently using dedicated level and pan controls, while mute and solo functions provide quick access to individual channels during performances and rehearsals.

The integrated 2-band master EQ enables users to tailor the overall tonal balance of their mix, while the adjustable limiter helps protect hearing by preventing unexpected signal peaks. Eight onboard user presets allow complete mix settings, including levels, panning, and mute status, to be stored and instantly recalled. Presets can also be transferred between units using a USB drive for convenient setup across multiple systems.

Compatible with Allen & Heath dLive, GLD, and Qu systems, as well as Aviom A-Net 16 networks, the ME-500 can also integrate with Dante, MADI, and EtherSound environments when used with the optional ME-U hub. Featuring stereo headphone outputs, balanced line output connectivity, PoE capability, and flexible mounting options, the ME-500 provides a reliable and intuitive personal monitoring solution for live sound, houses of worship, studios, educational facilities, conferences, and touring applications.
