Audinate Dante AVIO 1-Channel Analog Input Adapter
The Audinate Dante AVIO 1-Channel Analog Input Adapter provides a practical bridge between conventional analog audio equipment and Dante audio networks. Its single balanced line-level input is intended for sources such as mixers, wireless microphone receivers, instruments, processors, and other analog devices that need to feed a networked audio system. The compact adapter helps extend existing equipment into Dante installations without requiring additional network audio hardware at the source.
The analog input accepts selectable signal levels through Dante Controller, supporting +24 dBu, +4 dBu, 0 dBu, 0 dBV, and -10 dBV configurations. This flexibility allows the input to accommodate different professional and consumer line-level sources. A 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, greater than 100 dB dynamic range, and low total harmonic distortion support accurate signal conversion for installed and production environments.
Network communication is handled through RJ45 connectivity, with Dante Audio over IP and AES67 RTP transport. The adapter is powered by Class 1 802.3af Power over Ethernet, allowing audio networking and power to be delivered through the network infrastructure. Dante device latency can be configured to 1, 2, or 5 ms using Dante Controller, supporting different routing and synchronization requirements.
The adapter supports 44.1, 48, and 96 kHz sampling rates with 16-, 24-, and 32-bit audio. These capabilities make the one-channel AVIO input suitable for distributed audio, conferencing, live production, education, hospitality, and other systems where an individual analog source needs reliable access to a Dante network.
