Description
Audinate Dante AVIO 2-Channel Analog Input Adapter
The Audinate Dante AVIO 2-Channel Analog Input Adapter is designed to connect two channels of conventional analog line-level audio to a Dante network. It provides a compact solution for integrating mixers, wireless microphone systems, instruments, processors, and other analog sources into networked audio environments. By using an AVIO adapter, existing analog equipment can remain in service while gaining access to Dante routing and distribution.
The two balanced inputs support configurable signal levels through Dante Controller, including +24 dBu, +4 dBu, 0 dBu, 0 dBV, and -10 dBV settings. This allows the interface to accommodate a range of analog source levels. Its 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, dynamic range above 100 dB, and low total harmonic distortion provide a suitable foundation for clear signal conversion in professional applications.
An RJ45 network connection carries Dante Audio over IP and AES67 RTP traffic, while Class 1 802.3af Power over Ethernet supplies the adapter. No separate local power supply is required when the network infrastructure provides compatible PoE. Dante device latency is configurable at 1, 2, or 5 ms, allowing the adapter to be incorporated into systems with different network and synchronization requirements.
Sampling rates of 44.1, 48, and 96 kHz and 16-, 24-, and 32-bit audio support provide broad compatibility with Dante configurations. The two-channel design is well suited to fixed installations, live sound, conferencing, education, hospitality, and distributed audio systems where multiple analog sources need dependable access to a Dante network.
