A Bose AmpLink output sends up to eight channels of uncompressed, low-latency digital audio directly to AmpLink-equipped Bose amplifiers, simplifying the connection between processor and power stage while preserving audio quality. Internally, the ESP-880A performs advanced digital signal processing at 48 kHz/24-bit resolution, with low-latency and ultra-low-noise operation throughout the signal path.

Connectivity extends well beyond audio: a rear-panel Ethernet port supports configuration and control from ControlSpace Designer software, alongside an RS-232 port, five control inputs, and five control outputs for integration with third-party control systems such as Crestron and AMX. This makes the ESP-880A a practical bridge between a Bose audio system and a building’s broader automation infrastructure.

ControlSpace Designer software unlocks a wide processing library within the unit, including automatic mic mixers, predictive feedback suppressors, room combiners, multiband graphic and parametric EQs, Bose loudspeaker presets, routers, and more. This UK unit is configured for 230V operation and is compatible with Bose’s full range of ControlCenter zone controllers and ControlSpace Remote clients for end-user control.
