Ecler BIO-X8G EclerPLEX audio and control expansion unit
The Ecler BIO-X8G is an affordable expansion interface that can easily scale up an EclerPLEX digital host matrix, adding to its default size 8 input and 8 output analogue audio ports, 8 GPI ports and 8 GPO ports.
Connection to the host VIVO unit is made via X-link, using a 1 meter Ecler certified X-link cable included with the unit. Each of the 8 MIC/LINE analogue audio inputs offers +48V phantom power selectable per port, giving flexibility to connect condenser microphones or line-level sources as needed.
The addition of 8 GPI and 8 GPO ports makes the BIO-X8G well suited to projects that need extra contact-closure control capacity alongside additional analogue audio I/O, such as paging stations, volume controls, or automation triggers spread across a larger installation.
A maximum of 2 BIO-X8G units can be connected to a single VIVO host unit, using its 2 X-link expansion ports, reaching an expanded total matrix size that lets a project’s I/O capacity grow well beyond the host unit’s default configuration.
