The Ecler VEO-AXS4P is a professional HDMI audio extractor that allows audio to be de-embedded from an HDMI signal, including audio carried within 4K sources, giving system integrators an independent audio feed separate from the video path.
Uncompressed LPCM analogue stereo output is available through both RCA and Phoenix (Euroblock) balanced connectors, providing installer flexibility between consumer-style unbalanced connections and professional balanced wiring runs, while a coaxial S/PDIF digital output carries Dolby Digital and DTS multichannel signals for surround sound applications.
HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 compliant, the VEO-AXS4P supports data rates up to 18Gbps and video resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDR content, ensuring accurate synchronization between the extracted audio and the pass-through video signal from modern UHD sources.
Signal amplification and equalization also extend the HDMI input and output ports up to 10 meters (33 feet), giving the VEO-AXS4P a dual role as both an audio extraction device and a short-distance HDMI line booster, useful in corporate AV racks and control room installations.
