The JBL AM5212/64 is a medium-power, lightweight, two-way full-range loudspeaker designed for professional audio applications. Origin of country mexico, this black-finished model is part of JBL’s AE Application Engineered Series, ideal for venues such as performing arts facilities, auditoriums, houses of worship, live clubs, sports arenas, and themed entertainment venues.
The system is equipped with a 300 mm (12-inch) JBL 262H-1 Differential Drive low-frequency driver with dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap, providing high output with low distortion. High frequencies are reproduced by a JBL 2408H-1 compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5-inch) exit and 38 mm (1.5-inch) voice coil, ensuring crisp and detailed sound.
The large-format PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide offers a 60° x 40° coverage pattern and is rotatable, allowing use in either vertical or horizontal orientation. High-slope passive networks reduce band overlap, improve phase response, and enhance off-axis performance, making this system highly suitable for array setups.
The trapezoidal enclosure is built from 16 mm exterior-grade birch plywood, providing durability and excellent acoustic performance. Multiple M10 threaded suspension points enable flexible mounting and installation configurations.
