The JBL AM5212/64 is a medium-power, lightweight 12-inch two-way full-range loudspeaker designed for a variety of professional audio installations. It features a 300 mm (12-inch) JBL 262H-1 Differential Drive® low-frequency driver with a dual 50.8 mm (2-inch) voice coil and dual magnetic gap, providing powerful and low-distortion bass. High frequencies are delivered by a JBL 2408H-1 compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5-inch) exit and 38 mm (1.5-inch) voice coil, ensuring crisp and clear treble.

The PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide is rotatable and provides a 90° x 50° coverage pattern, making the loudspeaker suitable for both vertical and horizontal cabinet orientation. High-slope passive crossovers reduce band overlap, and controlled off-axis response allows excellent arrayability.

The trapezoidal cabinet is made from 16 mm exterior-grade birch plywood with 15-degree side angles, offering durability and precise acoustic performance. Fifteen M10 threaded suspension points provide versatile mounting options, compatible with the optional U-bracket model MTU-3.
