The JBL AM5212/95 is a medium-power, lightweight 12-inch two-way full-range loudspeaker, part of JBL’s AE Application Engineered Series, suitable for performing arts venues, auditoriums, houses of worship, live clubs, sports facilities, and themed entertainment installations. Origin of country mexico, this white model combines high output with flexible deployment options for vertical or horizontal cabinet placement.
It is equipped with a 300 mm (12-inch) JBL 262H-1 Differential Drive® low-frequency driver with a dual 50.8 mm (2-inch) voice coil and dual magnetic gap, providing powerful, low-distortion bass. The high frequencies are produced by a JBL 2408H-1 compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5-inch) exit and 38 mm (1.5-inch) voice coil, ensuring clear, detailed treble.
The PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide is rotatable and offers a 90° x 50° coverage pattern, optimizing sound projection in both vertical and horizontal orientations. High-slope passive crossovers minimize band overlap, while well-controlled off-axis response allows effective arrayability.
The trapezoidal cabinet is constructed from 16 mm exterior-grade birch plywood with 15-degree side angles for acoustic precision and durability. The enclosure includes fifteen M10 threaded suspension points, compatible with the optional U-bracket model MTU-3.
