JBL AWC15LF 15-Inch All-Weather Low-Frequency Loudspeaker
The JBL AWC15LF is a rugged, compact subwoofer built to reinforce low-frequency performance for various sound systems. Its durable, weather-resistant design (IP56 rating) makes it suitable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor venues, including stadiums, sports facilities, racetracks, fairgrounds, skating rinks, themed entertainment areas, water parks, swimming pools, and paging or background music systems.
Equipped with a 15-inch Kevlar-reinforced woofer and a 3-inch voice coil with long-excursion capability, the AWC15LF delivers deep, powerful bass down to 45 Hz. Its continuous power handling of 500 watts ensures strong output and high SPL for large-scale audio environments. For flexible integration, it offers either a 70V/100V multi-tap transformer or direct 8-ohm low-impedance operation.
The enclosure is made from heavily braced, glass-reinforced ABS, providing durability and protection against harsh conditions. A corrosion-resistant, powder-coated steel grille with layered foam and mesh safeguards the driver while maintaining sound clarity. Installation is simple with the included U-bracket and secondary safety point, allowing secure mounting in multiple orientations.
