The JBL Control 52 is a high-performance surface-mount satellite loudspeaker engineered for use in professional subwoofer-satellite audio systems where clarity, efficiency, and compact design are essential. Designed to integrate seamlessly with systems such as the Control 50S/T, Control 60PS/T pendant subwoofer, and Control 40CS/T in-ceiling subwoofer, it delivers clean mid-high frequency reproduction while maintaining a small, unobtrusive physical footprint.

At the core of the Control 52 is a precision-engineered 60 mm (2.5 inch) low-distortion driver designed for accurate sound reproduction and long-term reliability. The driver incorporates a secondary bucking magnet for improved efficiency, a rubber half-roll surround for enhanced bass response, and a 19 mm (0.75 inch) copper-clad aluminum wire voice coil mounted on a vented Nomex® former for thermal stability and durability. A copper-capped pole piece improves impedance consistency and extends high-frequency performance, resulting in smooth and controlled audio output across the operating range.

The system is designed for wide-bandwidth performance when paired with a compatible subwoofer, with crossover management handled within the subwoofer itself. This allows the Control 52 to operate efficiently in both low-impedance systems and 70V/100V distributed speaker line configurations. The speaker can be deployed in systems using either two or four satellite speakers per subwoofer, providing flexible design options for different room sizes and coverage requirements.

The included wall-mount bracket allows precise positioning, with up to 45 degrees of off-axis angling for accurate sound direction and optimal coverage. Its stylish, low-profile enclosure blends easily into modern interiors, making it suitable for commercial spaces such as retail stores, offices, hospitality venues, educational facilities, and public spaces.
