The JBL Intellivox ADC-H90 Mark II is a precision-engineered horizontal column loudspeaker specifically designed for high-ceiling corridors, platforms, terminals, and large public spaces where controlled sound dispersion and minimal spill are essential. Developed to improve intelligibility and listening comfort, this system focuses acoustic energy directly on the listener area while significantly reducing unwanted sound radiation into surrounding spaces, making it ideal for open platform railway stations and similar environments.

The loudspeaker features a precisely defined dispersion pattern with a wide fixed vertical coverage of 130° and a tightly controlled horizontal beam. This design enables targeted audio delivery over distances of 10 to 15 meters, with the horizontal focus point optimized at 15 meters for consistent speech intelligibility and even sound distribution. The column is designed for horizontal mounting and can be mechanically aimed to match the desired throw and coverage geometry, allowing accurate alignment for complex architectural layouts.

Built with six 4-inch full-range drivers and a steel powder-coated enclosure, the ADC-H90 Mark II provides reliable acoustic performance combined with long-term structural durability. The integrated transformer system supports 100V line operation with selectable power taps at 100 W, 50 W, and 25 W, enabling flexible system design for distributed audio installations. Control switches allow selection of high-pass filtering and correction EQ for optimized tonal balance in different acoustic environments.

The system includes pilot tone detection with front-panel LED indication, supporting continuous monitoring for life safety applications.
