JBL Model V90 Vertical Loudspeaker

The JBL Model V90 Vertical Loudspeaker is engineered for high-intelligibility speech reproduction in environments such as transport hubs, shopping centers, places of worship, atriums, and other reverberant spaces. By employing a preset vertical opening angle combined with a -4º steering angle, the speaker accurately targets the listening plane when mounted flat to a vertical surface. This design reduces incoherent reflections from surrounding structures, resulting in superior clarity for paging and announcements.

The Model V90 supports vertical or recessed mounting, allowing it to blend seamlessly into architectural designs without obstructing aesthetics. Its EN 54-24 compliance ensures reliable operation in life safety applications, making it suitable for hospitality, large venues, and other public spaces where safety and intelligibility are critical.

Equipped with six 4-inch full-range drivers, the speaker covers a horizontal angle of 130º and a vertical angle of 30º, achieving a typical throw of up to 15 meters. The system operates efficiently with selectable transformer taps of 100 W, 50 W, and 25 W and provides control over high-pass filtering and EQ correction. Additional features include pilot tone detection with a green LED indicator and compatibility with JBL 100 V IndustryAmp series amplifiers.

Constructed from powder-coated steel with multiple mounting points, the Model V90 is designed for durability and outdoor capability (EN 54-24 Type B). Standard colors include grey or white enclosures with black speaker baffles, while optional accessories allow customization for specific installation requirements.
