JBL PD566 15-inch Horn-Loaded Full-Range Loudspeaker
The JBL PD566 is a professional 15-inch horn-loaded loudspeaker engineered to deliver high output with precise pattern control. It is perfect for standalone music or speech systems with frequency extension to 80 Hz, or it can be integrated with subwoofers to achieve extended full-range sound.
The speaker features a 380 mm (15 in) horn-loaded low-frequency driver and a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit compression driver (JBL 2432H) for clear high-frequency reproduction. Large PT™ Progressive Transition waveguides provide 60° x 60° coverage, low distortion at high SPL levels, and smooth frequency response. The waveguide is rotatable for horizontal or vertical cabinet orientation.
A sophisticated, steep-slope passive crossover network with switchable bi-amp/passive modes ensures system flexibility and optimal performance. The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed from 18 mm exterior-grade 11-ply Finnish birch plywood, finished with durable DuraFlex™ coating.
This model is suitable for sports facilities, performance venues, auditoriums, and worship spaces that require reliable, high-fidelity sound reinforcement.
