The PD6212 12-inch 2-Way Horn-Loaded Speaker is designed for applications requiring high output capability combined with precise pattern control. As part of the Precision Directivity Series, it delivers controlled broadband performance for music and speech systems where frequency extension to 80 Hz is sufficient, or as part of a larger system combined with subwoofers for extended bandwidth operation.

The system incorporates a 300 mm (12 in) horn-loaded low-frequency driver paired with a large-format high-frequency compression driver. This high-sensitivity design ensures strong continuous SPL capability with clear articulation and consistent tonal balance. The low-frequency driver features a 75 mm voice coil, while the HF section utilizes a 38 mm exit compression driver with a 100 mm voice coil for accurate high-frequency projection.

Large PT Progressive Transition waveguides provide broadband pattern control with smooth frequency response and reduced distortion at elevated SPL levels. The rotatable low- and high-frequency waveguides allow the cabinet to be oriented horizontally or vertically without compromising coverage performance. Multiple coverage pattern options are available, including 40° x 30°, 60° x 40°, 60° x 60°, and 90° x 50°.

A sophisticated 6th order Linkwitz-Riley passive crossover network at 850 Hz ensures accurate frequency division. The system supports switchable bi-amp and passive modes for installation flexibility. Housed in a trapezoidal enclosure with 16 mm exterior-grade construction and equipped with 20 M10 suspension points, the PD6212 delivers durable, high-performance sound reinforcement with controlled directivity.
