JBL AC26 dual 6.5-inch 2-way loudspeaker
The JBL AC26 is an ultra-compact, high-output 2-way loudspeaker designed for professional fixed-installation applications. Manufactured in Mexico, it is part of JBL’s AE Compact family within the AE Series, delivering precise audio performance, consistent coverage, and flexible installation in a space-efficient enclosure. It is ideal for designers and performers who need clear, reliable sound in small to medium-sized venues.
The AC26 features two 165 mm (6.5-inch) low-frequency transducers paired with a 25 mm (1-inch) exit compression driver, providing detailed high-frequency response and accurate midrange tones. Its PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide provides a 90° x 90° coverage pattern, ensuring even sound dispersion and controlled off-axis response. Passive crossover circuitry and FIR-style tuning optimize frequency and phase response, enhancing coverage consistency and overall sound quality.
The enclosure is built from 12 mm and 15 mm exterior-grade multi-ply hardwood plywood with a white textured finish, offering durability and a clean, professional appearance. Dual Neutrik NL4 connectors and screw terminals provide secure and flexible connection options. Multiple M8 and M6 suspension points allow mounting with optional U-brackets, OmniMount® brackets, or stand mount accessories for walls, ceilings, or stands.
The AC26 is suitable for performing arts facilities, theatrical sound design, auditoriums, houses of worship, live and dance clubs, sports venues, and themed entertainment spaces, offering compact, reliable, and high-quality sound reinforcement.
