The JBL AC28 is an ultra-compact, high-performance 2-way loudspeaker designed for professional fixed-installation applications. Manufactured in Mexico, it is part of JBL’s AE Compact family within the AE Series, offering clear, powerful audio with precise coverage and flexible mounting options. The AC28 is ideal for venues requiring consistent high-fidelity sound, including performing arts facilities, auditoriums, houses of worship, and entertainment spaces.

This model features two 205 mm (8-inch) low-frequency drivers paired with a 25 mm (1-inch) exit compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5-inch) voice coil, providing deep bass, detailed mids, and crisp highs. The PT™ Progressive Transition rotatable waveguide delivers a 120° x 60° coverage pattern, allowing flexible horizontal and vertical orientation for even sound distribution. FIR-style tuning and passive crossovers optimize frequency and phase response, ensuring uniform coverage and high-quality audio across the listening area.

The enclosure is constructed from 12 mm and 15 mm exterior-grade multi-ply hardwood plywood with a white textured finish for durability and a clean, professional appearance. Dual Neutrik NL4 connectors and screw terminals provide secure and reliable connections. Multiple M8 suspension points support installation using optional U-brackets, MultiMount® brackets, or stand mount accessories.
