JBL AM5212/64 is a lightweight, medium-power, two-way full-range loudspeaker system engineered for high performance and installation versatility. Finished in white, it integrates seamlessly into visually sensitive venues while delivering consistent, high-quality sound. This model is manufactured with origin of country mexico and belongs to JBL’s AE Application Engineered Series, developed for scalable and reliable professional installations.
The system features a 300 mm (12-inch) JBL 262H-1 Differential Drive low-frequency driver utilizing a dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap design. This configuration improves power handling, efficiency, and thermal stability while reducing overall system weight. High frequencies are reproduced by a JBL 2408H-1 compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5-inch) exit and voice coil, ensuring articulate and controlled high-frequency response.
A large Progressive Transition waveguide provides a wide 100° x 100° coverage pattern and is fully rotatable, allowing the loudspeaker to be deployed in either vertical or horizontal orientation without compromising dispersion control. High-slope passive crossover networks minimize band overlap and improve phase consistency, supporting excellent arrayability and uniform off-axis performance.
The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed from exterior-grade multi-ply birch plywood for durability and acoustic stability. Multiple M10 threaded suspension points support a wide range of rigging and mounting configurations, making the AM5212/64 suitable for theaters, auditoriums, houses of worship, sports venues, and themed entertainment spaces.
