The JBL AM5212/64 is a medium-power, lightweight, two-way full-range loudspeaker designed for professional audio applications. Origin of country mexico, this white-finished model belongs to JBL’s AE Application Engineered Series and is ideal for performing arts facilities, auditoriums, houses of worship, live clubs, sports venues, and themed entertainment spaces.
It incorporates a 300 mm (12-inch) JBL 262H-1 Differential Drive low-frequency driver with a dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap, producing powerful, low-distortion bass. High frequencies are handled by a JBL 2408H-1 compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5-inch) exit and 38 mm (1.5-inch) voice coil, providing clear, detailed treble.
The large-format PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide ensures 60° x 40° coverage and can be rotated for use in either vertical or horizontal orientation. High-slope passive networks reduce band overlap, optimize phase response, and provide consistent off-axis performance, making this system ideal for arrays.
The trapezoidal cabinet is made from 16 mm exterior-grade birch plywood for durability and optimal acoustic performance. Multiple M10 threaded suspension points allow flexible mounting and installation options.
