JBL AM5215/64 15-inch 2-Way Loudspeaker with 60° x 40° Horn is a medium-power, full-range loudspeaker system engineered for professional audio applications. It features a JBL Differential Drive® 265H-1 380 mm (15 in) low-frequency driver with dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap, paired with a 2408H-1 38 mm (1.5 in) exit high-frequency compression driver. The large PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide ensures consistent coverage, low distortion, and excellent pattern control across multiple listening environments.
The rotatable waveguide allows the speaker to be deployed in vertical or horizontal orientation, making it ideal for performing arts facilities, auditoriums, worship venues, live clubs, dance clubs, sports arenas, and themed entertainment locations. High-slope passive networks minimize band overlap, while the off-axis response remains controlled to enhance arrayability in complex sound setups. The system supports both Bi-Amp and passive modes, with FIR tuning optimizing frequency response, phase alignment, and coverage consistency.
The trapezoidal enclosure is made from 16 mm exterior-grade birch plywood with 15° side angles and is equipped with 15 suspension points for flexible rigging. The powder-coated steel grille with acoustically transparent foam backing protects the drivers without compromising sound clarity. Available in black or white finishes, the JBL AM5215/64 provides reliable, professional-grade performance with exceptional clarity and power handling for medium-power applications.
