JBL AM5215/66 15-inch 2-Way Loudspeaker with 60° x 60° Rotatable Horn in white is a medium-power, full-range loudspeaker system developed for professional audio environments requiring controlled coverage and consistent sound quality. The system is built around the JBL Differential Drive® 265H-1 low-frequency transducer, featuring a 380 mm (15 in) cone with a 50.8 mm (2 in) dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap, delivering strong low-frequency output with reduced weight and improved efficiency. High-frequency reproduction is handled by the JBL 2408H-1 compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit and 38 mm (1.5 in) voice coil, ensuring clear and detailed high-frequency performance.
The large-format PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide provides a symmetrical 60° x 60° coverage pattern, allowing even sound distribution and low distortion across the listening area. Its rotatable design enables vertical or horizontal mounting, making the loudspeaker suitable for auditoriums, performing arts venues, worship facilities, live clubs, sports facilities, and themed entertainment environments. High-slope passive crossover networks minimize band overlap, while the controlled off-axis response improves arrayability in multi-speaker configurations.
The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed from exterior-grade birch plywood and includes multiple suspension points for flexible rigging options. Supporting both Bi-Amp and passive operation with FIR tuning, the JBL AM5215/66 in white delivers optimized frequency response, accurate phase alignment, and consistent coverage, making it a reliable solution for medium-power professional sound reinforcement applications.
