JBL AM5215/95 15-inch 2-Way Loudspeaker with 90° x 50° Rotatable Horn in white is a medium-power, full-range loudspeaker system designed for professional sound reinforcement environments requiring controlled dispersion and consistent audio quality. The system is built around the JBL Differential Drive® 265H-1 low-frequency driver, featuring a 380 mm (15 in) cone with a 50.8 mm (2 in) dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap. This design delivers strong low-frequency output while maintaining reduced weight and high efficiency. High-frequency performance is handled by the JBL 2408H-1 compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit and 38 mm (1.5 in) voice coil, providing clear and accurate high-frequency reproduction.
The large-format PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide provides a 90° x 50° coverage pattern, ensuring even sound distribution and low distortion across wide audience areas. Its rotatable design allows the loudspeaker to be installed in either vertical or horizontal orientation, making it suitable for auditoriums, performing arts facilities, worship venues, live clubs, sports facilities, and themed entertainment environments. High-slope passive crossover networks minimize band overlap, while the controlled off-axis response improves arrayability in multi-speaker configurations.
The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed from exterior-grade birch plywood with 15-degree side angles and includes multiple suspension points for flexible rigging. Finished in white, the JBL AM5215/95 blends seamlessly into architectural spaces while delivering reliable performance, accurate frequency response, and consistent coverage in medium-power professional audio applications.
