JBL AM7212/00 12-inch 2-Way Loudspeaker with 100° x 100° Rotatable Horn in black is a high-power, full-range loudspeaker system designed for demanding professional audio applications. It features the JBL Differential Drive® 2262H low-frequency driver with a 300 mm (12 in) cone, incorporating a 75 mm (3 in) dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap. This advanced driver design delivers high output capability, enhanced power handling, and reduced system weight while maintaining tight, accurate low-frequency performance.
High-frequency reproduction is provided by the JBL 2432H compression driver, utilizing a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit and a large 75 mm (3 in) voice coil. This configuration ensures clear, detailed high-frequency response with excellent projection and reliability under high sound pressure levels. The large-format Progressive Transition™ waveguide offers consistent 100° x 100° coverage, reducing distortion and maintaining uniform sound dispersion across the listening area. The rotatable waveguide supports both vertical and horizontal installation, allowing adaptable placement in a wide range of venue layouts.
High-slope passive crossover networks reduce band overlap, while controlled off-axis response improves arrayability in multi-loudspeaker configurations. The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed from exterior-grade Finnish birch plywood and includes multiple suspension points for secure and versatile rigging.
