JBL AM7212/64 12-inch 2-Way Loudspeaker with 60° x 60° Rotatable Horn is a high-power, lightweight, full-range loudspeaker system designed for professional audio applications. It features the JBL Differential Drive® 2262H low-frequency driver, incorporating a 300 mm (12 in) cone with a 75 mm (3 in) dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap for robust low-frequency performance, high power handling, and minimal distortion.
The high-frequency section employs the JBL 2432H compression driver, equipped with a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit and a 75 mm (3 in) voice coil, delivering clear and detailed highs even at elevated sound pressure levels. The large-format Progressive Transition™ waveguide provides consistent 60° x 60° coverage with low distortion, smooth off-axis response, and optimized directivity across the listening area.
The rotatable waveguide enables flexible vertical or horizontal installation, allowing the system to adapt to a variety of venue configurations. High-slope passive crossover networks reduce frequency band overlap, ensuring coherent sound reproduction. Controlled off-axis response improves arrayability for multi-speaker setups in theaters, auditoriums, sports facilities, live clubs, worship centers, and themed entertainment environments.
The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed from 16 mm exterior-grade Finnish birch plywood with 15-degree side angles, featuring multiple M10 suspension points for secure rigging. Finished in white, it blends seamlessly into architectural spaces. Origin of country mexico.
