The PD6212 12-inch 2-Way Horn-Loaded Speaker is engineered for sound reinforcement environments that demand high acoustic output with controlled coverage. As part of the Precision Directivity Series, this loudspeaker provides reliable mid and high-frequency performance with usable low-frequency extension down to 80 Hz, making it suitable for standalone operation or integration with subwoofers for extended bandwidth systems.

The design incorporates a 300 mm (12 in) horn-loaded low-frequency driver combined with a large-format high-frequency compression driver. This high-efficiency configuration supports strong continuous sound pressure levels while maintaining clarity and tonal consistency. The low-frequency section utilizes a 75 mm voice coil driver for effective power handling, while the high-frequency driver features a 38 mm exit with a 100 mm voice coil for precise and intelligible high-frequency projection.

Large PT Progressive Transition waveguides provide wideband pattern control and help maintain smooth frequency response while minimizing distortion at high output levels. The 90° x 50° horn configuration delivers broader horizontal dispersion with controlled vertical coverage, supporting even sound distribution across audience areas. Rotatable low- and high-frequency waveguides enable both horizontal and vertical cabinet orientation without compromising acoustic performance.

A steep-slope 6th order Linkwitz-Riley crossover network operating at 850 Hz ensures accurate frequency separation. The system offers switchable bi-amp and passive modes for flexible installation. Built into a trapezoidal enclosure constructed from 16 mm exterior-grade material and equipped with 20 M10 suspension points, the PD6212 provides durable construction and dependable high-output performance.
