The JBL All-Weather 8-inch 2-Way Coaxial Loudspeaker is a compact, durable solution for professional audio in both outdoor and indoor environments. Its IP56-rated design ensures protection against dust, rain, and harsh weather, maintaining consistent sound performance in a variety of conditions. The speaker provides a 120° x 120° broadband coverage pattern, delivering even sound distribution for speech, music, or background audio in installations, touring, and public address systems.
This loudspeaker integrates a 200 mm (8-inch) Kevlar-reinforced low-frequency driver with a 50 mm voice coil and a 25 mm compression driver with a high-temperature polymer diaphragm. The combination provides clear, detailed sound across a wide frequency range of 80 Hz to 20 kHz, with natural midrange and extended high-frequency response. A high-slope passive crossover network ensures smooth audio blending and consistent coverage, while the SonicGuard™ system protects the high-frequency driver from overload.
The unit supports both direct 8Ω connection or 70V/100V multi-tap operation, offering flexible installation options. Its robust ABS and glass composite enclosure is reinforced for long-lasting durability, while the corrosion-resistant steel grille with foam and poly mesh backing protects the drivers. Two M10 suspension points and an M6 secondary safety attachment allow secure mounting, and an included U-bracket provides convenient installation. These features make the JBL All-Weather 8-inch Loudspeaker reliable, high-performance, and easy to deploy for a wide range of audio applications.
