The Allen & Heath Qu-6 Digital Mixer is a high-performance digital mixing console designed for engineers who require professional audio quality, flexible routing, and intuitive operation. Built on Allen & Heath’s powerful XCVI processing platform, the Qu-6 combines advanced digital technology with a familiar workflow, making it suitable for live events, houses of worship, conference facilities, theaters, corporate productions, and installed sound systems.
At its core, the Qu-6 features a 96kHz XCVI processing engine paired with upgraded microphone preamps and premium AD/DA converters. This architecture delivers exceptional clarity, low latency, and accurate signal reproduction throughout the audio chain. With 24 microphone preamps and support for up to 38 channels to mix, the console offers the capacity required for complex productions while maintaining efficient operation.
The mixer incorporates a modern 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, channel strip displays, chromatic metering, and 25 motorized faders, allowing engineers to access critical controls quickly. Four customizable channel layers and eight assignable SoftKeys provide workflow flexibility and simplify navigation during live operation.
The Qu-6 also includes six multi-FX engines with dedicated stereo returns, bringing professional reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, phaser, and vocal effects processing directly into the console. DEEP Processing compatibility extends the mixer’s capabilities with advanced processing tools derived from Allen & Heath’s flagship dLive platform.
Integrated recording options include a 32×32 USB-C audio interface, SD card multitrack recording, and USB stereo playback and recording. Combined with SLink expansion connectivity, Automatic Mic Mixing, Gain Assistant, and Feedback Assistant technologies, the Qu-6 provides a comprehensive digital mixing solution for demanding professional audio environments.
