The Ecler SAM612T is an installation audio mixer in standard 19-inch rack format, designed for straightforward, reliable operation by non-technical users in day-to-day commercial audio environments. It features 6 MIC/LINE stereo inputs plus 1 stereo mix input, feeding a stereo balanced main output and a dedicated stereo record output.

Each input channel has a dedicated 3-band tone control, a feature fundamental to achieving a well-balanced microphone mix in an installation, along with adjustable microphone sensitivity on the back panel and +18V phantom power available on all MIC inputs for condenser microphones.

Input 1 includes a talkover (priority) function over the mix bus with an internal recovery time selector, along with an additional front panel jack connector for direct microphone connection, useful for a receptionist or announcer needing quick, prioritized access to the system.

The main output offers a stereo/mono mode switch, and a MUTE port accepts an external dry contact for remote muting, allowing integration with fire detection systems or other safety devices. Direct access to the mixing bus allows another mixer to be connected to increase the number of available inputs.
