The Allen & Heath Avantis Digital Mixer is a powerful live sound console designed to deliver professional-grade performance in a compact and highly customizable format. Built on the same processing technology found in Allen & Heath’s flagship dLive series, the Avantis offers 64 input channels, a 42-bus architecture, and 96kHz audio processing, making it suitable for live events, houses of worship, theatres, touring productions, and broadcast applications.
The mixer combines the familiarity of traditional analog workflows with the flexibility of modern digital control. Its 24 motorized channel strips feature dedicated faders and PAFL controls, while six switchable layers provide access to a total of 144 fader strips. The innovative Continuity UI integrates physical controls with touchscreen operation, creating an intuitive workflow that allows users to navigate, configure, and manage complex mixes efficiently.
Two high-definition 15.6-inch touchscreens provide responsive gesture-based control, allowing users to pinch, swipe, drag, and drop parameters for fast system configuration. Customizable widget areas offer quick access to scenes, metering, and RackExtra FX processing, enabling users to tailor the interface to their specific workflow requirements.
The Avantis is designed with extensive connectivity and expansion capabilities. It includes 12 XLR microphone inputs, 12 XLR outputs, AES digital connectivity, network audio support, and SLink integration for stage boxes and I/O expanders. Dual expansion card slots support Dante, MADI, Waves, and gigaACE protocols with up to 128 x 128 channels of operation at 96kHz. Word clock synchronization ensures seamless integration with external digital equipment, making the Avantis a versatile solution for demanding professional audio environments.
