The Bose Professional commercial sound processor provides a practical and versatile solution for commercial sound reinforcement applications where reliable audio processing and straightforward system management are essential. Designed for quick-turn installations, it combines intelligent DSP features with network-based configuration and control, making it suitable for retail spaces, restaurants, hospitality environments, offices, fitness facilities, and bars or pubs.

Its AutoVolume function continuously adjusts audio levels according to changing ambient noise when paired with compatible AVM-1 sense microphones. This helps maintain consistent music levels without requiring constant manual intervention. SmartBass automatically optimizes low-frequency performance according to room acoustics and listening conditions, helping deliver balanced bass even when the system is operating at lower volume levels.

The processor also includes Opti-Source Level Management, which helps equalize the perceived volume of up to four connected sources, while Opti-Voice provides smoother transitions between background music and announcements. Full mixing functionality allows multiple inputs to be combined and routed to individual listening areas.

Up to five listening zones can be configured, with zone control available through optional wall-mounted ControlCenter controllers or the ControlSpace Remote app. A built-in scheduling function can automate source selection and volume changes throughout the day, reducing the need for manual operation.

Connectivity includes 8 x 4 balanced analog I/O, four mono-summed RCA input pairs, eight control inputs, one control output, a mute connection, Ethernet, and Bose Professional AmpLink. AmpLink provides a simplified digital connection to compatible amplifiers, while the network architecture supports Cat-5/Cat-6 cabling, PoE capabilities, DHCP, and static IP configurations.
