The Ecler VEO-SWM44 is a compact 4K presentation switcher offering four selectable inputs, two HDMI ports, a USB-C connection, and wireless BYOD input via VEOCast technology, all routed to a single HDMI output. Video support extends to 4K/60Hz 4:4:4 with HDR10 and Dolby Vision, giving meeting rooms and classrooms a single compact box for switching between local and wireless presentation sources.

An integrated audio de-embedder provides stereo analogue balanced outputs on Euroblock connectors, allowing sound from the selected HDMI or USB-C source to be routed directly into a room’s sound reinforcement system. Two USB 3.0 Type B and two USB 3.0 Type A ports support soft codec video conferencing applications and external devices such as webcams and KVM kits, extending the switcher’s usefulness beyond simple video routing.

Input selection can be handled automatically through sense detection, manually via front panel buttons, or remotely through RS-232 commands, giving installers flexibility in how the system is controlled. Display control, including power on/off, is available through front panel buttons using CEC or RS-232, letting the VEO-SWM44 manage the connected display alongside source switching.

Wireless BYOD capability through VEOCast supports macOS, iOS, Android and Windows devices, while the USB-C input can additionally deliver up to 60W of power, USB data and 4K video to a connected laptop over a single cable. Smart EDID management and HDCP 2.2 support ensure broad compatibility with modern source and display hardware in corporate and education environments.
