The Ecler VEO-MXH48T is an 8×8 matrix combining HDBaseT and HDMI outputs, supporting up to 4K/UHD video resolution at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling. Its HDBaseT outputs extend 4K/UHD video reach up to 40 metres and Full HD video up to 70 metres over a single CAT cable, letting displays be positioned much further from the source hardware than standard HDMI cabling would allow.

The matrix includes eight analogue audio inputs and sixteen analogue and digital audio de-embedding outputs, alongside an independent audio matrix that lets sound routing be managed separately from video paths. A built-in video downscaler allows a 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 input to be automatically converted to Full HD@60Hz or 4K@60Hz 4:2:0 for displays that cannot accept the full-bandwidth signal, extending compatibility with older or lower-spec screens.

HDBaseT outputs also deliver PoC (Power over Cable) to compatible receivers such as the VEO-XRT44, simplifying installation by removing the need for local power at the display end. Control is available through the front panel and onboard LCD display, IR remote, RS-232, IP control and an integrated WebGUI, with advanced EDID management and CEC support for reliable operation across mixed source and display hardware.

Compliant with HDCP 2.2 and 1.4, and capable of storing up to eight presets for quick recall, the VEO-MXH48T suits large-scale professional installations such as conference centres, campuses and retail chains that need long-distance 4K video and audio distribution across multiple rooms or zones.
