The Ecler THIA-2R is the receiver module of the Ecler THIA video over IP ecosystem, a JPEG2000-based platform designed to redefine professional video content distribution across standard IP networks. It decodes the incoming stream from a paired THIA-2T transmitter, delivering output video resolution up to 4K at 30Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling, preserving colour fidelity and image detail through the decoding process.

As a compact receiver module, the THIA-2R is built for professional applications where image quality, synchronisation and responsiveness cannot be compromised. Using the JPEG2000 codec, THIA achieves extremely high video quality alongside an ultra-low latency of just 1-2 frames, keeping displays perfectly in step with their source even across a networked distribution system.

The THIA-2R integrates with the VEO-XCTRL4D controller, running dedicated THIA-2C firmware, giving installers centralised configuration, diagnostics and management of every module in a THIA deployment through a single web interface without needing external software. This simplifies commissioning and ongoing maintenance of larger installations with many receiver endpoints.

Designed to eliminate the need for separate, costly video wall processors, THIA natively supports video wall configurations up to 9×9 when the THIA-2R is combined with the VEO-XCTRL4D controller. The THIA-2R suits corporate environments, high-end meeting rooms, control rooms, universities, auditoriums and advanced training spaces that require premium 4K video distribution with minimal latency.
