The Ecler THIA-2T is the transmitter module of the Ecler THIA video over IP ecosystem, a JPEG2000-based platform built to redefine professional video content distribution across standard IP networks. Its HDMI 2.0b input, supporting up to 18Gbps bandwidth, handles signals up to 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling, encoding the incoming video for distribution across the network without a meaningful loss of visual quality.

As the top-tier encoder module of the THIA range, the THIA-2T is built for professional applications where image quality, synchronisation and responsiveness cannot be compromised. Using the JPEG2000 codec, THIA achieves extremely high video quality alongside an ultra-low latency of just 1-2 frames, a critical characteristic for corporate boardrooms, control rooms and other environments where any perceptible lag between source and display is unacceptable.

The THIA-2T pairs with THIA-2R receiver modules to form complete point-to-point or point-to-multipoint video distribution links, and integrates with the VEO-XCTRL4D controller, running dedicated THIA-2C firmware, for centralised configuration, diagnostics and management of an entire THIA deployment through a single web interface without external software.

Designed to eliminate the need for separate, costly video wall processors, THIA natively supports video wall configurations up to 9×9 when combined with the VEO-XCTRL4D controller. The THIA-2T suits corporate environments, high-end meeting rooms, control rooms, universities, auditoriums and advanced training spaces that require premium 4K video distribution with minimal latency.
