The Allen & Heath AR2412 is a professional remote AudioRack designed to extend the input and output capabilities of Allen & Heath Qu, SQ, and Avantis digital mixers, as well as AHM audio matrix processors. Built for live sound, installed audio, and monitoring applications, the AR2412 provides a high-density remote I/O solution while maintaining simple connectivity and reliable performance.

The unit is equipped with 24 XLR mic/line inputs featuring high-quality microphone preamps that deliver up to +60 dB of gain. Each input includes a -20 dB pad, allowing the AudioRack to accommodate both microphone and line-level sources with excellent headroom and signal quality. In addition, 12 balanced XLR line outputs provide flexible routing for main outputs, monitor sends, zone feeds, and other audio distribution requirements. All outputs are relay protected to ensure dependable operation in professional environments.

Using Allen & Heath’s dSNAKE protocol, the AR2412 connects to compatible mixers over a single Cat5 cable and can be positioned up to 100 meters away from the host system. Remote preamp control and scene recall functionality allow engineers to manage gain settings directly from the connected mixer, streamlining setup and operation during live events.

The AR2412 also includes dedicated Expander and Monitor ports, enabling connection to additional AR84 or AB168 AudioRacks for expanded I/O capacity. Direct compatibility with the ME Personal Mixing System allows performers to create and control their own monitor mixes. Housed in a robust 3U rackmount chassis with integrated rack ears, the AR2412 offers a scalable, flexible, and professional solution for remote stage connectivity and audio distribution.
